Brian had the pleasure of having some zany holiday fun in the Midwest! He appeared as an incorrigible outlaw version of Wild Bill in an original musical revue, celebrating 25 years of entertainment at Great Plains Theatre.
Julius Caesar + A Midsummer Night's Dream
TEXAS SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL ROADSHOW — Kilgore, TX
Brian enjoyed touring both of these Shakespeare classics throughout the schools of the Lone Star State. In Caesar, he was mainly featured as Casca and Octavius Caesar, while his third outing with Midsummer provided him the fun experience of playing Demetrius and Robin Starveling.
Little Shop of Horrors + Peter and the Starcatcher + Boomtown Improv
CREEDE REPERTORY THEATRE — Creede, CO
Brian spent four unforgettable months making theatre in the beautiful mountains of southwest Colorado. He had the joy of revisiting the roles of Audrey II in Little Shop, Alf in Peter, and had a blast throughout the summer while making his professional improv comedy debut!
Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom
COLUMBIA ARTISTS MGMT — New York, NY
Brian had the privilege of joining the stage version of this incredible for the first time as a swing performer. Turning 15 combines the gripping music of the Civil Rights movement with the real-life story of Lynda Blackmon Lowery as a black teenage activist in 1965 Selma.
A Midsummer Night's Dream
PENNSYLVANIA SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL WILLPOWER TOUR — Center Valley, PA
Brian and his fellow troupe members traveled to schools throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey with a whimsical 85-minute version of Midsummer. Onstage, he returned as Oberon and Theseus, while his offstage duties included co-leading a lively workshop on the language of Shakespeare as part of PSF's Linny Fowler WillPower program.
The Addams Family + A Midsummer Night's Dream + Peter and the Starcatcher + The Hunchback of Notre Dame
FESTIVAL 56 — Princeton, IL
Brian was overjoyed to return to his second Midwest home! Throughout the summer he was featured as Fester in Addams Family, Oberon and Theseus in Midsummer, Alf in Peter, and a member of the wonderful Hunchback ensemble — along with several late night cabarets.
Black History Tour
BRIGHT STAR TOURING THEATRE — Arden, NC
Brian toured to schools, libraries, and theatres across the eastern United States to educate and enlighten audiences of all kinds on African American heritage. Available shows included Freedom Songs: The Music of Black History, African Folktales, and Jackie Robinson.
Sweet Charity + Seussical + Stop Kiss + The Comedy of Errors
FESTIVAL 56 — Princeton, IL
Brian had the fun opportunity to live in rural Illinois while participating in a summer of "small town, big drama"! Along with cabaret performances and a new works festival, he appeared as Oscar in Sweet Charity, General Genghis Kahn Schmitz in Seussical, Detective Cole in Stop Kiss, and also had a blast as Emilia in Comedy of Errors.
ROUSTABOUT THEATRE TROUPE — Milan, MI
Brian was invited to join a lovely reading of this new work, written by Kirsten Knisely. Something Greater is a funny, thoughtful look at the interplay between faith and conflict. The reading served as part of a weekend-long inaugural event for Roustabout.

Brian did his best to be a "comforting" presence as Mitch Mahoney! He thoroughly enjoyed creating pandemonium with this show while being so near his hometown.

THE PENNY SEATS THEATRE COMPANY — Ann Arbor, MI
Brian beat the heat with some outdoor theatre, lending a funny contemporary air to some of Geoffrey Chaucher's classic tales. He appeared as the unscrupulous Pardoner, the love-struck rooster Chanticleer, and a host of other loony characters.
Bebop the Musical
CARRIE MORRIS ARTS PRODUCTION — Hamtramck, MI
Brian was invited to participate in a unique retelling of the creation of bebop! This concert reading was told by live actor-singers as well as puppeteers, and was loosely inspired by the heroes of the American jazz age. Brian appeared in the lead role of the great Charlie Parker.
